Dermatology

Dermatology is a branch of medicine which concentrates on diseases of the skin, and other bodily parts connected to it. There are numerous branches of dermatology.

It is a technically demanding field. Many dermatological specialties such as immunology, laser medicine, operative dermatology and aesthetic medicine, photo-dermatology and computer controlled early cancer detection routinely require the use of the most modern technology in daily clinical and practice life.

The most commonly researched branch is immune dermatology, which focuses on skin conditions caused by immune reactions.
