Cardiovascular Disease
Heart attacks and strokes belong at the top of the list of cardiovascular related mortalities internationally. Almost every second death worldwide can be related to a form of cardiovascular diseases which usually is a result of a sedentary lifestyle, tobacco or alcohol abuse, an unhealthy diet or prolonged exposure to adverse environmental factors. Included in this category are a whole group of pathologies which involve the heart and all of the cardiovascular system such as pulmonary arterial hypertension, angina pectoris, congestive heart failure and high blood pressure.
